Keeper ki catch velthe, he caught and slipped, it fell into 1st slip fielder hands, he too slipped it, again weeketkeeper caught it, slipped

and finally slip fielder caught i think. 2 times it exchanged hands.

Yes..he was a very dogged defensive player..pretty much blocking was his forte...

But that is what was needed for India to save the game in those days ...and he did that successfully in the company of Little Master

At the famous Madras test, Gavaskar had dropped himself down the order at #4. But Marshall struck twice in the firstover to have Gavaskar walking out. Viv Richards told Sunny 'Maan, its no use if you come in at #4 or opening, you're still out here in the first over'. Sunny made 236*, the game was saved. It is still the highest test score made by an Indian.

chauhan baa adathada???i donno about him....too much iithey

They were hit pair of the days...

Unlucky for him...but he did not score a 100 in his whole career..

The pair is the most successful Indian opening pair with ten century partnerships. Chauhan had technical limitations and his strokeplay was not exactly fluent. But no one could question his courage, his defence and his ability to get behind the line of the ball. He was always a difficult batsman to dislodge and his patience and dogged qualities stood India in very good stead in 40 Tests in the period 1969 to 1981.

The Indian selectors have called up Tamil Nadu opener M Vijay as cover for Gautam Gambhir, who may miss the Nagpur Test against Australia

Vijay is surprising choice, given he was picked ahead of former Tests openers in Wasim Jaffer, Aakash Chopra and Dinesh Karthik.
