u r using which account to search. does the application impersoante as a sql account or is it using windows account? does that account have dbo access? | ||

nope, DB restore cheyyaledhu..Erwin nunchi schema generate chesi with all the tables & relations 2008 lo kotha DB create chesam..already working DEV DB vundi..dhaaniki link chesthey app working fine kani kotha DB ki vachetappatiki issues start ayyaye... points to remember 1. Konni tables data import cheyyaledhu from old DB , becs it has junk data. So junk data ni avoid chesam. 2. Few master/REF tables are empty. did u restore the db from one server onto another sever maybe user ids orphan ayayi emo if u did restore from a different server. use sql profiler to verify. | ||

JOdha, web.config lo DB setting lo, Trusted_connection = true ani chesi choodu. if doesnt work then it could be in sqlserver issue, check the PRIVILIGES for the SQL USER in MASTER TABLE. Dev team ki clean & working DB ivvataaniki try chesthunna..kaani application ki na DB hook chesi test chesthuntey, konni services distable aye vunnaye..like AddnewCustomer one. & when I am trying to search for a customer..exception vasthundhi..You dont have privilege to search for a customer ani..what could be the problem? any ideas?
