The basic issue with american voters is their dislike for intellectuals....there have been many candidates who were far intelligent than their opponents but they lost ...Its the disdain for ivy league educated politicians in the american psyche that has lead to electing people like Bush and Palin...Americans want to have a guy as president who they can have beer with...Look where it has got them to...the main play by all candidates is to make voters believe that they have something in common...
