so laxman needs to play at least two more yrs...to nurture the youngsters...and he maybe a stop fill till either dhoni..or someone better shows up.... --- this nurturing youngsters ebing outside the team is a joke brother....unless they are in the mix...they dont learn....... when we are struggling to take a fifth bowler when we know how important that is.....i dont expect there is seriousness in that nurturing the youngsters statement of BCCI......we are operating to accomodate the seniors......and hope they deliver........ i dont see....how three bowlers can take 20 wickets in the next test match..... konni daring steps theesukovali......dhoni made captain is one of those.....with that......one step....we save a aplace for one bowler....Kumble will retire.....if he is sacked..... then we seriously should think how Rohit or Badrinath can be put into the line up........toggle sehwag.....Ganguly's place...is there......unless we try.....we dont know where we are....... we are defenitely not moving forward under Kumble..... ippudu manaki unna...senior players after dravid/sachin and ganguly are laxman,veeru and zaheer....sehwag gadu unpredictable...zaheer ki fitness problems...and i dont think he ever showed any aptitide for captaincy...dhoni i think is still learning to be a test batsman....middle order we cant get rid of all 4 at this time...so laxman needs to play at least two more yrs...to nurture the youngsters...and he maybe a stop fill till either dhoni..or someone better shows up.... | ||

for so much we are patting our backs with that draw....given our batting line up and records......299 daggarloki chase kooda cheyyakapotam...shame.....daarunam.....pitch thirigi sacchindhi ledhu......yes we were 21/2....but sachin and laxman batted well.....but once settled...we didnt threaten 200 atleast........ It's shame that batsman like Ganguly and Laxman....opting for delaying tactics and ready-to-run-out-of-ground-with-rain kind of tactics....I would doubt if zimbabwe does this when given a chance like this...... Laxman is not even 34...why is he even combined with Saurav 36+, Sachin 35+ and Dravid 35+... Babai Bhajji was a better bowler than what pragyan is today..he used to flight the ball much more,he is definetly a bigger turner than pragyan..Piyush will eventually replace Kumble..but Pragyan ni chuste mana spinners yenti asalu spin seyaru anipistundi..He might end up a good odi spinner but test level he will struggle with what he has now. What India needs is a spinner who will challenge Bhajji/Kumble in the test team..murali kartik did it for some time | ||

Kumble emaina big spinner aa aithe..he was skidder...mostly.. Pragyan(from whatever little I saw him on TV) has lot of variations and he has bowled well in 20-20s and 50-50s...he will probably experiment and improvise if given a chance..after all he is just 19 years old.. bhajji came into national reckoning at 18 too.. | ||

Munaf in particular is in good form --- Munaf should get a chance at Mohali...i hope we go with 5 bowlers...... India does'nt seem to have too many options with spinners babai..both Pragyan and Piyush r not big spinners..Pragyan in my opinion is not a good test spinner..Amit Misra is showing some promise Mohnish Parmar is another good prospect. We have a great group of pacers.. Munaf in particular is in good form | ||

I would not say play Piyush Chawla only..but we have an interesting mix of good bowlers today..we have good fast bowling choices and along with them come Piyush/Ojha/Harbhajan and each of them offer a different variety..and we need that in our bowling department to win matches --- can't agree more.... FF, That is my problem too...if you are one of the leading bowlers and if you are representing the nation at the cost of younger players..
