Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam leaders in Guntur district are in a tight spot over collection of funds for the Yuva Garjana, scheduled to be addressed by Tollywood hero, Nandamuri Balakrishna. The Yuva Garjana, was planned by the Telugu Desam leaders in an attempt to bring back the party's past glory. The NTR's family members, excluding Daggubati Purandhareswari, have planned to jump into active politics, campaign for the party and ensure that the party is returned to power in the State. In this process, it was decided that the entire Nandamuri heroes would address the first public meeting at Guntur. The Nandamuri heroes like Balakrishna, Harikrishna, Taraka Rathna and Jr. NTR were scheduled to make their public appearance at the Guntur Yuva Garjana as already announced. However, things seem to have changed and only Balakrishna would be addressing at this meet, according to the party sources. The other heroes, including Harikrishna, have decided to stay back from this, in an attempt to prove the strength of the hero, who is considered as an alternative to Megastar Chiranjeevi. With other heroes staying back from the Garjana, and the TD having only one MLA from Guntur district, the leaders are in a tight spot over mobilization of funds for the meeting. As the plan is to bring good number of youth that would match the Tirupathi meeting of Chiranjeevi, the party required heavy loads of currency which is to be collected from industrial and business houses. The party sources said that except the TD MLA, D Narendra Kumar, the other TD leaders are not able to convince the business houses for funds.
