Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to launch a movement against corruption in Y S Rajasekhara Reddy regime from October 2. For those who have been watching the State politics, Naidu's outcry against corruption is like "dayyalu vedalu vallinchinattu (devils quoting scriptures). Though corruption during Naidu regime was not all pervading as it is now during YSR regime, it was more or less centralised during the TD period. The suitcases and bags used to reach the powers that be during Naidu regime. Nobody has forgotten scandals like Yeleru scam, scholarship scam and food for work scandal that surfaced during Naidu regime. However, one must agree that YSR government is mother of corruption, but nobody can prove it. Yet, Naidu has no moral right to point out this. He is in a fool's paradise if he thinks people have forgotten his corrupt rule and vote for TD! |
