My point is that a lot of incentives in reservations are economic. Ante did he decide that only SCs and STs are poor in the society? Even in those times that was not true. If Ambedkar thought that being economically backward was a reason for social backwardness, and all castes lo economically backward ppl unnappudu he should offer economic incentives for all economically backward ppl. Mama I have read a lot about Ambedkar. 1. He never supported the freedom struggle, but supported the British all through. 2. He was always against the Congress and Nehru. There was no way he could get into the constitutional draft committee. But he lobbied heavily later and got into it. 3. He turned his hatred towards caste system as hatred towards Hinduism ignoring the fact that every religion has loop holes. PPL like Kandukuri fought against bad things in Hinduism but they never denigrated any religion. 4. He was known to have shown extreme favouritism towards his caste, what an irony. Just a basic thing - Caste system, untouchability were "social" misnorms. If you look at the reservation system, a large part of it is aimed at providing economical gains. How can social backwardness be attacked using economical incentive? If economical backwardness can cause social backwardness, why did he not extend those to economical incentives to every caste? Dont they deserve social respect? | ||
