anyday FTII is the best film school in India. Next comes Satyajit Ray film school in Kolkata.Students from these universities would find difficult in getting in to the commercial film industry. Due to the exposure (or over exposure) to various films and filmmaking trends from around the world it would be difficult to think of making crappy bollywood films...but there are exceptions like SLB who was from FTII but still made it in commercial bollywood films. If you have loads of money and looking to get an entry in to commercial films LV Prasad film institute, Rama naidu film school or whistling woods film school. Since these schools are run by established persons from the industry it will be easy to get an entry in to the industry.... But if you have crossed 30s I suggest film schools are not a best option as the crowd there will be in early 20s.... The best learning you get is not in a film school but when go out make a film....If you are just out of college then its better option to opt for a film school... or else write a script make a film and learn as you progress... | ||

Kaanee I read at FTII site about the editing courses there... cheap kaanee 3 years time!!!!!!!!! still, I think with the kind of alumni it has, it is worth it anupisthundi....
