ee link lo ichina flow.. manam realtime system lo chese flow nena?

ante boxlu geesesi direct gaa aa points padeyocha?

Mams..

First figure lo vunnadhi.. they have show when the flow is between SAP to SAP.
You can do one thing.. Keep receiving system as it is... and change the sending system to your Legacy system. and add Middlware box infront of communication layer.

LGEACY--> MIddlware --> Commincation Layer --> SAP (Copy the receiver system flow diagram)

I will send one more docu.. which has some flow charts.. you can use them according to your flow of process.

typical middle structure

Adapter ( file ) to receive file from Directory(of 3rd party legacy system )------> In middleware mapping will be executed between source file and Idoc -------> Adapter( Idoc or SAP ) to send Idoc to SAP system.

RFC destination ( sm59 ) to connect to that middleware
WE20 or21 for port ... you'll mention that RFC destination here..
BD54 for creating logical system
we21 or 20 you'll use that logical system name to create partner profile..
at partner profile's Inbound you'll mention that IDOC type that you want use.

3rd party system ( Legacy ) ------"Message Name"( file )------> MIddleWare -------- "Idoc Name " ( IDOC)----> SAP

maama first basic referece for all tcodes related to EDI is WEDI and for all ALE tcodes is BALE.

Partner profile is that you create for the partner to whom you will be sending EDI messages. In partner profile for outbound you define the message type and process code. This process code is attached to function module. So system picks function module from this particular process code, executes the function module and then IDOC is created.

Eka port ante just like a gate. You create a port in SAP and the translator(gentran, xi, harbinger) they will use this port for connecting to SAP.

Nee requirement more of ALE anukuntunna. Refer to area menu BALE, you need to set up a distribution model from BD64.

Inka emanna specific questions vunte adugu lekapothe calling sesuko

thammudu nenu fucntional will try to explain wat I know

needhi Inbound kabatti....find out wat type of documents ur posting
Invoice....or cash posting....or a Purchase Order....or a Sales order etc etc...
Prathi type ki SAP lo oka IDOC type(message type untaadhi) for example...Lockbox ki LOCKBX
Transaction WE19 can be used to view the IDOC structure...
Neeku standard SAP transaction lo Sales Order create cheyyataniki ememi fields kaavalo avanni aa sales order IDOC type lo untaai....
U have to decide which data U want to capture and pass it to the EDI team and they will do the mapping.....
To get a better Idea....transaction open chesi IDOC type identify chesi use we19 to input data and simulate it ti create the IDOC...U will learn a lot about formatting
