mama naa fav song...chaana istamina song so I will be very critical.... ammai voice let down....unfortunately voice shrill....sometime be sur...shreya ghoshal made the original one a memorable one with soulful rendition...... nuvvu matuku sampesav...too much..I was thinking how U will pull off the "Dhoobey naa" at 2.05....just before "Thaka Thaka suraj jab Nadhi se Hokar Niklega".... naa kendhuko aa part very different...very appealing and difficult composition anipinchedhi...I might be wrong... Elca, A good story, i like the way you wrote the story, if it were not you, i wouldn't have read the post, it is too confusing for my little brain. Anyways thanks for sharing it dude, i can see let us say RGV/Vishal adapting it and making it a huge success, but I don't want Amitabh to play the Big King role nor Abhishekh to play the third song, hope they come up with proper casting. King Lear was adapted in Telugu in 1949 by KV Reddy for Gunasundari Katha. When Amitabh was here last year for the Last Lear's screening he announced that Vishal B will be adapting King Lear in to a Hindi film... But apart from the announcement he made at the London Film Festival I havent heard any thing else on this project.... | ||

ee movie ni inkaa Vishal Bharadwaj touch cheyyaledhu.... too much concept idhi....ultimate tragedy.... can be made in a very appealing manner in seema background ....... Movie story.... Oka King untaadu.... he was ruthless When he was expanding his empire.... He will have three sons in their prime age... One fine day he decides to give up everything....gives power to his elder one and requests the other two sons to share the responsibilities.... The third son curt in his language but likes his father a lottt....they will have an argument and he drives the third son away.....then the first one after getting power drives the King away from his castle...the first sons wife family was destroyed by the KIng Lear...so she is taking revenge on him trough her husband... So the King goes to his second son and he also drives him away too..... THe king doesnt want to goto his third son cause he feels guilt for wat he did to him... FInally he hides in one of the remaining castles under his rule but will be attacked by his own two sons armies who consider him as threat.... Heartbroken and losing everyone he becomes demented..... In that chaos the second son will kill the first one to claim the throne and makes it look like a collateral damage of war... Now the first ones wife seduces this guy and forces him to marry her and kill his original wife who is a buddhist and a very serene person.... After learning about wat happened to his dad the third son makes peace with the second one and goes on to meet his father....when the father sees the 3rd son he feels happy and regains hs compsure and mental balance... in the mean time poisoned by his mistress perspectives the second son sends assasins to kill the 3rd son and he dies in his fathers arms....after seeing this the father is heart broken and he dies....the third sons father in law comes to know about this and he sends a huge army to indave the second sons empire....In the mean time the secondson kills his wife to please his mistresss and by knowing this the commander of second sons army who is a well wisher of him kills his Mistress saying she completely ruined their empire... In the end second sons army is defeated and he commits suicide.... Every character in this story has so much depth and complexity....it will be huge spectacle if its adapted for indian scree...... King Lear can be any faction leader or a War Lord in UP or Bihar.... if U mix their story with local politics and prepare the script like Omkara ....it will rock seduction,violence,drama,action....everything is there} |
