Many new age people say that Hindu marriage system is more ritualistic than holding spirit in that. But every ritual has got its importance and connectivity to society. Let us see how entire societal system is connected to our marriage system. The concept of 'sarve jana sukhino bhavanthu' made an ulterior phenomenon in its marriage system.

The science of marriage lies on the pillars of caste and if you look at it closely, the basket or 'Butta' that the bride is brought in requires the hand of the Medhar community to make it. The culture of uncle bringing the bride in the basket is part of ritual as everyone knows.

Similarly, the mud pots used for the rituals are made by the potter community.

And then there is the ornament section that is done by the goldsmiths, the traditional Shehnai done by the respective barber community and last but not the least, the Brahmins without whom the ceremony cannot take place.

And there is a practice of bride's father gifting the groom with a new cot. And the role of carpenter will be played there. The new clothes will be woven for the event to gift among each other and for that the services of padmasaali community form inevitable. And washer man community is also involved by groom's side, taking him along with them to bride's home at the time of marriage.

The required groceries will be bought for vysya community. Milk Vendors/ Yadav community is also made happy by ordering for milk at the time of 'appaginthalu'. As the observation goes, we can understand how well the communities are also involved in a marriage system. Recognizing different talents and faculties is the sole idea of this entire phenomenon.

So for the culmination of two individuals into a fruitful and life lasting relationship the involvement of the entire caste system of our society can be understood by this algorithm.
