http://nz.sports.yahoo.com/olympics/news/article/-/4879971/o lympics-age-barrier-games-oldest-female-gymnast Age no bar for for Games' oldest female gymnast Oksana Chusovitina ...german gymnast...she won gold in 1992 barcelona games when she was 16....she was represeting USSR then...later she had succesful career...got married and had a child unfortunately he was diagnosed with leukamia....she was living in Uzkebisthan at dat time and that place was not properly equipped to deal with her sons situation.....SO she took the help of her former coach who was a german and she moved to berlin for her sons treatment...kid went though 7 rounds of chemo and he was completely cured....Now she wants to give it back to germany the country which saved her child...so she is competing again at 33yrs....in vault category...she qualified for finals....if she wins..it would be koooolll} |
