Guruji rice when broken is converted to sugars and because rice is easily broken down and blood sugar level raises very fast.

whole grains are complex carbs and break down slowly and raises sugar level very slowly...

So poddune rice is not good...

Rest mee eignatha....with or without knowledge Sugar intake in our foods pretty high..with out workouts and high sugar intake is a cause of concern.
