"mama idle time ante turn off monoitor aa turn off harddisks a?"...Idletime ante after howmany hours you want me to turn off your monitor OR harddisk.

For both Monitor and Harddisk you can set the idle time..There will be am option to set idletime for both of these options...

goto control panel --> Power Options loki vellu....here u see some seetting options like
Turn off monitor/Turn off harddisk/System Standby with Plugged in/Running on batteries ane options unnaya..?

There u can select the option based on u r requirement....


for plugged in : select more Idle time.....like 3 or more hrs...
for running on batteries : select around 2hrs of idel time...

RA mama..check power settings in u r laptop. it will have some settings , if u leave it idle for sometime , It will automaically shutdown/turnoff harddisk/turnoff monitor ani some settings untayi..

goto control panel --> Power Options loki vellu...

"it doesnt restart the system"....I think sometimes u need to restart the system , if the setting is 'turn off harddisk'.......for me it didn't restart after pressing power button. I had to restart..so i checked never turn off...
