Correct, in fact BMTC shows the importance of charging right fares so that the corporation can earn profits and continue to increase bus services, quality of buses etc. Hyderabad buses have really fallen in quality over the past few years, masipoyina - chinigipoyina seats, noisy buses, etc. But you are right, Bangalore route frequency is not that good and not optimially organised...their routing is nuts...for instance, there was no bus which can take you from BTM Layout to Koramangala...ilantivi ennennno | ||

buses are good relatively. neat ga maintain chestaru. kani fares are high compared to AP or TN. But only commercial motive.. night services undavu. 9 daatite unnavi kooda taggipotayi. ee vishyam lo hyd rocks | ||

yes, those who have the privileage of flexi work timings, can plan properly and take public transport, metro ochaka situation inka better avuthundi ani expecting... only complaint though is, metro is not planned towards siruseri/kelambakam......
main diff b/w banglore and chennai is in night services..... chennai rocks.... all major routes lo thru out night you'll have mtc busses plying.... bangalore lo as far as I know, its not available Naakonchem thikkundi.... daaaniko lekkundi | ||

yep daily okkadine car lo potha...short distance anuko...but entha ledhanna daily one liter...ante 75. Monthly 1500-1600 on gas for me alone. If some one on budget can travel the same comfortably if they need not travel peak time with 200-300. | ||

Never got a need to travel in last 4 years after i moved back from US. Not that it is wrong but didnt find a need when i can take a cab comfortably. Yesterday i decided to try it alone....was surprised....5 km distance 4rs ticket. Bus seats are pretty decent...5-7 min lo destination reached. Return lo AC bus...10 rs ticket anukunta didnt remember same distance. under 5 min as limited stops. I was really surprised with the prices, didnt know that it is this cheap/reasonable. May be it was weekend and not crowded i felt comfortable. Desam rocks in public transportation. |
