Mvssr75:

With my Limited knowledge I see 2 strong forces in the market. Markets are not driven by fundamentals at this time. They are driven by Oil and Finance lobbies to compensate their credit losses

1. Same Group Bullish on Bank and Finances , become bearish on commodities for some time
2. and same group reverses its stance.
3. In both cases the losers are small investors

"BE A SHORT TERM INVESTOR IN THIS MARKET"

so keep testing the markets with very limited exposure.

100% agree with you..

I have been telling this to my friends since the Oil SCAM started..

its just another SCAM to cover the Housing SCAM...

Not sure what the next SCAM will be from the Investment Banks..and the Govt of US of A

There is going to be Cat and Mouse game between OIL and Banks.
As long as Housing Crisis exists and Supply disruptions of OIL exists OIL will not go down beyond a point.

Next week we may see some OIL gains and Banks and Fin Short selling.

I heard from few speakers on NPR yesterday as I was driving.

If these companies go bankrupt then the rating of US as a country would go down from its AAA rating to some B grade..

They were saying that China and Japan want Freddie and Fannie afloat as they have lot of money at stake ...so the US government will not allow FNM or Freddie to die easily..

Yes good Question.

As i said i have made my exposure limited.

"Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac" even though are rescued , they are not at their 52 week low. Having said that we can as well take some risk with them

"WaMu" even though faring worst, is at 52 week low and very much affordable. even if you loose 100% , you are OK

"Bac" is out of credit crisis Rradar (even then it may go down) and "JPM" is one good stock.

BUT ALWAYS MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PLAY RISKY LIMIT YOUR EXPOSURE. In case of 100% loss also we should be OK. Thats my Mantra. Donot put all your cash. Keep 60% cash in hand and keep playing with remaining 40%.

Mvssr75:

I have just taken some risk with WaMu, BAC , JPM once the market is down ?
may be these stocks may go down for a while for next couple of days. But defly bounce back.

Satyam is also at almost 52 week low.

Why did you not pick Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac if you were picking WaMu.
