Asalu Marchepoya, you should also visit the cafe in Ranga Shankara theatre in Jayanagar (opposite the TTD temple) - they have some good snacks - try their Sabudana Vada, Akki Rotis, in fact all their dishes are a delight, very home made, less oil and masalas, lovely ambience | ||

Sis, Nagarjuna hotel in residency road (anukuntaanu), dosa with chicken curry baaguntundi.....Karnataka specials kaavaali ante "thattte idli" ani villages lo tiffin shops lo dorukutundi...I drove to Goa once and had it in a village while coming back and entering Bangalore. Too tasty...Divi can throw more light on it. If you are on commmercial street, and akkada nearby oka street side shop lo idlis and dosas every evening vesthaadu...we used to queue up there....Andhra style ante Nandini antaaru...But, I found it strictly okay....Bheema's anukuntaanu...MG road nearby vuntundi...full meals sooper. Indira Nagar lo Sri Devi ani vundi....akkada sea food sooper... I was in Bangalore when I was a bachelor with group of friends. All my experience was experimenting with street side vendors and Andhra style restaurants. Karnataka style ante max bisibili bath thinevallam. I miss the place though. Barbeque nation is like a Brazilian churrascaria, with all you can eat buffets but the place is a mess usually as it the favourite joint for all office going crowd who want to spend their monthly team budgets... | ||

Idhi maa adda - where are you staying in JP Nagar 2nd Phase, Jayanagar, some of the best places to live in Bangalore...but are bad foodie places, still some recommendations below: Jayangar 4th block - in President Hotel lo there is a restaurant called Iris or something, that is good Jayanagar 4th block - 1947 is decent (close to Jayanagar shopping centre), though service is not good JP Nagar - Aroy (it is just opposite Mini Forest, on top of the cross word building, good Thai food); Barbeque Nation (close to Delmia circle) If you can stretch to Koramangala - around 3-4 kms away, you can have 100s of options Little Italy (best Italian in town), China pearl (great Chinese), Umerkot (NWFP food), Rock Garden (you should try their fig salad), bistro claytopia (you can do some arty clay stuff while you get your food, great ambience), ila enno untayi Koramangala lo Only one sugggestion - don't go to any Andhra joints, utter crap; don't go to MTR too - overrated and waste of time | ||
