Well, here goes the story. Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao who was elected consecutively for 5 times as MLA from Chintalapudi constituency of West Godavari has joined Chiranjeevi when he started PRP. Kotagiri was very loyal and close friend to Chiranjeevi and eventually with PRP’s merger into Congress, he was continuing as official representative of PCC. Kotagiri wanted to place his candidate for Panchayat elections in his native village. But the Congress party that is ruling the center and state didn’t even bother about this senior leader’s request and wish. Meanwhile Central Minister Kavuri Samabsiva Rao and Kottapalli placed their own candidate in the place and spending money to ensure his win. This has become a biggest insult for Kotagiri. Chiranjeevi, the close friend of Kotagiri who is the position of central minister didn’t even bother to help him. And to safeguard his self pride, Kotagiri made his daughter contest as independent from the same Panchayat constituency. Carrying all these professional insults Kotagiri went into grief and being a heart patient he couldn’t take the things. Thus he breathed his last. Now many are blaming Chiranjeevi for not standing for his friend when he wished something small. “What is the use of Chiranjeevi getting into power when he can do nothing for his people and friends?!”, lamented people close to Kotagiri.
