This must be the first official statement by chiru confirming his entry into politics

Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, who plans to enter politics, is spending five hours taking lessons from top bureaucrats every day.

Among other things, he is learning public speaking in three languages Telugu, English and Hindi. "He wants to gain a close knowledge of state and national issues," said a source close to the 53-year-old actor.

Chiranjeevi will wear casual clothes during his public appearances, and avoid khadi, that trademark attire of politicians.

"This should be a party different from the others. Our focus is on disciplined growth," Chiranjeevi told MiD DAY.

He is a keen learner

His tutors include top bureaucrats such as Dr M Gopal Krishna, director, Andhra Pradesh Gas Power Corporation.

"They are giving him interactive sessions. He is a keen learner and spends most of his day brushing up on what he has learnt," said our source.

Chiranjeevi will reportedly launch his party on August 14. It will be called Swayam Krishi, and be modelled on the Labour Party of United Kingdom.

"Chiranjeevi visited London recently and was impressed with their system of training members," our source said.

Chiranjeevi will field 15 candidates during the parliamentary elections due in about a year.

He has been talking to CEOs of IT companies and members of NGOs. "But he avoids meeting politicians, though some are keen on tie-ups," said our source.

Chiranjeevi, who rose to fame in gangster films, has assigned his brothers to look after the nitty gritty of running the party.
