Approx. 39% of my $360k is in 401k. Am i on the right track with the rate of savings given the number of years in this country? Also given thay 39% is in retirement accounts, is there any way to avoid penalty of early withdrawal if I leave this country? Also what happens to my social security contributions if i decide to relocate? Can i get a refund

Hello all - my pd is Dec 2008. My status is RFE response review. An RFE was raised on BC that was already submitted first time. So, not sure why this was done but it looks like my attorneys filed the details again. I have no further information on this since I have moved jobs twice after and dont have an attorney since the last attorney was hired by my employer. The status is still in RFE response review since my dates are not current. I am assuming I dont need an attorney at this stage given that my PD is not current. At what time will I need an attorney?

Given the talks of retrogression, I am assuming that my dates would not be current this year. Is it safe to assume that there is no expectation for my date to be current even in the next few years (absent CIR) because of the volume of porting?

Given the above, I am trying to make the maximum out of the situation and the only thing in my control is the amount of savings i have. I just want to get an evaluation or health check if you may to determine if i am on the right track because if the GC situation is not resolved in an year or so, I just want to pack up and leave and the only thing in my control is the amount I have saved. I have worked n the USA for 9 years. I have no property in India. I have saved appproximately $360k during this time and have a home equity in addition of $60k. Can i get a refund?
