No idea about open media vault. It looks like a custom linux variant OS. Synology DSM is definitely a better alternative. Why are you booting off a USB stick? . See if you can clean up any temp files of the USB. Add another HDD to the server. You can shadow copy the USB to it to boot. |

I have got HP proliant micro server....installed open media vault and created a RAID partition... I read on forums Synology DSM is better with great performance and can be installed on HP Proliant. was trying for it. Any advices on this front? Also, while creating bootloader on USB stick using WinDiskManager, my 16GB flash drive is giving me hard times. its showing as 15MB capacity now instead of 16 GB.
