https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egC00f1UBxU New fuss over Siddharth in Telugu media. Entire Telugu media wants to follow Greatandhra style of reporting.:-) It sounds like they asked him if he would dub all his Tamil films in Telugu. He says no, their taste is different and dubbing will work for city-based stories that are universal only, Brahmanandam's role gave success to Something Something,... but for films like his new Jitharthanda, it's too native to Tamil and different. Such films won't be accepted. Most films outside of commercial format in Telugu don't work. How did the above become an insult to Telugu films? It's the same thing we have all been saying for so long. Telugu media hatred of Siddharth hasn't cooled down. All because he told them to keep their nose-out of his personal life. One principal correspondent and chief reviewer actually went on twitter to ask media people in Chennai if Siddharth was at a pressmeet. A couple of others, were typing 'assumed comments' before posting link to actual pressmeet. Telugu media.... wahaa... you are as corrupted as Indian politicians. Yet you call them crooks? He said most different films don't work in Telugu... not all. We either complain about Telugu films being uncreative or fuss that someone has pointed out that because that someone is an outsider. |
