Ever since Apoorva Lakhia announced that he wanted to remake yesteryear blockbuster Zanjeer, the film has been in the news but for all the wrong reasons. The rights are owned by several people and then there was the writers’ issue. The film features Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. But now, it seems, it’s all sorted, according to a close source to Reliance Entertainment, which is backing the film. And in a few days from now, the writer copyright issues is also expected to be resolved. The film will release either on September 13 or 20. PS: If the Zanjeer remake releases on September 13, it will clash with three movies – Shuddh Desi Romance, Hasmukh Pighal Gaya and John Day. If it releases on September 20, it will clash with Phata Poster Nikla Hero. |
