so the response is an xml? i have a feeling you might be missing a parameter in the url query string. im assuming you used this. HttpWebRequest request = WebRequest.Create(requestUrl) as HttpWebRequest; HttpWebResponse response = request.GetResponse() as HttpWebResponse; if the query string parameters right, it should work as it uses basic GET. if its not, try a opening a socket, and post data on the socket to see what you get back. the world of appearances may or may not be real, or both may and may not be real - or may be indescribable; or may be real and indescribable, or unreal and indescribable; or in the end may be read and unreal and indescribable - its all Syadvada | ||

wireshark open chesi, @ present how you are running your programme just run that. in wireshark you will see data capturing. end of the program, check in wireshark by filtering it out based on source / destination ip's. | ||

501 ante HTTP server is saying it does not implement that particular method of data transfer. downLoadFile should use GET, i hightly doubt that the server is not implementing this. try OpenRead, to see if you can work on the stream.
