Rational objection. All South people seem to have an inferiority complex when it comes to Tamil because rest of the country so far identify all South as Tamils. Understandable grievance...:-( And then the North people have their own superiority complex. The desperation in some Telugu DBers to associate or claim some lineage to North/Caucasian blood is pathetic. You feel sorry for such low self-esteemed people. Seems like most people here get hurt if you point out that dark Telugus are the majority.:-)  | ||

All these studies are nothing more than 'theories'. There's no difference between population of Tamil Nadu/Karnataka/Andhra in the south when it comes to dark people. Same percentage. In fact, Andhra seems to have the darkest Brahmins. There's no shame in being dark. People here seem to point out like it's some sort of shame. You ain't going to become white(European white) by trying to put down dark skin or fend away the slave history of your ancestors! Enjoy the weekend... will open Darwin's theory thread on Monday and we can decide if the first monkey on earth was a white monkey or a black monkey. If you are really interested you should check out the haplogroups of people in India by area wise. It is really interesting. One of the things that I love about India is its diiversity. There is no other nation on earth with such various races in large numbers. I can only think of Brazil, if anything, that comes close to the range of diversity India sees. However Brazil doesn't have Australoid/dravidians or mongoloids ..... So I think India is #1 in the world in this manner. Mohan Babu nijaalu matladithe "controversy" antaru....... Ancestoral South Indians who originally inhabited much of south asia some 20000-30000 years ago were actually africans, atleast in the way they looked.
