The presence of a celebrity is always strong but then even they have their own boundaries. That is why men like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan etc are held in high regard for their global presence. This is something even Ram Charan may have realized as he went to the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival. According to reports, Charan was ignored totally by the photographers present there. The fact that they didn’t know who he was and there were stars of much higher caliber and celebrity quotient were the key reasons. Obviously it was the world media so it is heard that photographers didn’t really care for Charan. The cine folks say he maybe a celebrity here but in a place like Cannes, it is hard to recognize him. For that matter, if Charan crosses Andhra Pradesh then his recognition will come down easily by 65%.
