5D is Full frame (36 x 24 mm sensor) professional camera (21 Mega pixels) 7D is APS-C format (22.5 x 15 mm sensor) prosumer camera (18 Mega pixels) 5D is lot better camera than 7D in every aspect. 7D is lighter (easy to carry), cheaper where as 5D is heavy with lots of features. | ||

What is the Difference btw 'Effective pixels' and 'Mega Pixels'???? i was checking the price of Canon 7D and Canon 5D mark III.... Both are having almost equal configurations and structures.... the only difference i got is 5D Mark III is having Effective pixels of 22.3 (in MP) which is alcking in 7D....
