Popular Telugu film hero Ram Charan Teja, son of union tourism minister K Chiranjeevi, might have managed with the police to see that there was no case against him in connection with the bashing up of two software engineers at Banjara Hills on Sunday, but there has been an overwhelming demand for his arrest from netizens on the social networking sites. Ram Charan was involved in a clash with two techies Phaneesh and Kalyan, who could not make way to him while he was coming in his posh car near GVK Mall on Road No. 1, Banjara Hills. The agitated hero called up his personal body guards, who waylaid the duo and bashed them up on the road. The techies approached the police station but did not file any case under pressure. However, the ugly episode of Ram Charan’s highhanded behaviour was brought to light by the media, thanks to an enthusiastic photographer who captured the same and released pictures to the media. As the pictures were published in the media, people responded spontaneously in Facebook and other networks, demanding that case be booked against Cherry. Several lawyers threatened to approach the court against him, while some channels even conducted live debates against him. So, a hero has become a villain in the eyes of public! |
