Saarang: Even at their current payroll, they are a loss making team. ??? making money is via ads, sponsorships, ticket sales aa? silly question ye All of them...TV rights are the biggest variable depending on the market. http://www.cnbc.com/id/48047319
National TV (ABC, ESPN, TNT, NBA TV) games and online jersey sales go to the league and split equally among all teams. Local TV rights used to go to the team. Starting from the current season, a portion of this revenue will be shared equally among all teams. Teams keep all of the ticket sales. Biggest revenue comes from corporate suites. Our company's suite at Staples Center used to cost around 400K per year and there are 150 of them. Ee year nundi because of things like high luxury taxes and revenue shares, owners will not have much financial incentive to build a good team. Sacremento Kings ki Miami Heat no big difference. |

Another interesting fact is Lakers have one of the relatively "poor" owners in NBA...so they won't spend any more than what they have spent this season. Idi ayite guaranteee...Lakers will try to shed salaries this year. But Lakers brand will always attract super-stars and they will rebuild very quickly from 2014. |

Jalsa: Saarang: He has been having knee issues for a while now. inko 3 yrs untademo mostly.
He will play at a good level for 3-5 years but team does not have any assets to improve...they will only get the 29 or 30 th pick every year. If they stop winning, they will have to trade Wade to improve the team. Even at their current payroll, they are a loss making team. From 2014, their losses will increase steeply. May be their owner thinks this is Fantasy basketball and doesn't care about money. |

Jalsa: Ntr_rocks: last season finals lo Wade and eric ki evo clashesh vachayi...last season lo wade has major impact in crucial games... Ee season wade health antha ga baledu, anduke calm ga side ayipoyaadu anukuntunna That was just playoff arguments, I guess. He clearly mentioned that this is Lebron's team and he must have realized himself too. Otherwise, lebron ki heat ki techeyvaadu kaadhu anukunta. very underrated and often overlooked is Chris Bosh. He can score too and he showed it in few games where lebron and wade were out.
Ippudu Wade baaga side ayyipoyadu...dont know if they will even keep him after 2014. If they decide to trade one of their big 3, I think it will Wade that gets traded. |

Saarang: Lebron seems to be a good team player. Without Lebron, I would say they are a very average team. No center and below average point gaurd. They have too many SG/SF type players...so no balance. But Lebron manages by literally playing all 5 positions. I think he is the only guy does that. There are a lot of players that play 2 positions but 5 is just barbarious.
No doubt he is a team player and he is still improving. From last year, he improved in defense this year and number of shots the team takes is very well spread out, which is not possible if he were not a team player. Some of this must be his personality, love for the game, and thirst for championships. |

I think he would have got 5 in a row if he did not do that stupid "Decision" and handled his Cleveland departure in a dignified manner. |

No idea about how Spoelstra manages him...but Lebron seems to be a good team player. Without Lebron, I would say they are a very average team. No center and below average point gaurd. He got 120 out of the 121 first place votes. Only second time that a player missed unanimous MVP by just 1 vote. Shaq did it with Lakers in 1999-2000. Lebron joins Michael Jordan (Bulls), Bill Russell (Celtics), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lakers) and Wilt Chamberlain (Phily & Lakers) as the only players in NBA history to win at least four MVP awards. |
