India is only together because the corrupted leaders of the nation need to keep the land together to loot it as much as possible. And the middle class is the same. They want the advantage of every benefit of unity but still hate the other states advancing ahead of their own. India is certainly a melting pot but 75% of the Indian subcontinent is made up of the same genetic background. Possible reason why the average Bangladeshi and the average Tamilian look the same. Or how a dark Brahmin from AP is a common sight but would be surprising in Maharashtra. | ||

We were never one country...different languages...different cultures....different gods....different social customs..... Later on we have been United politically.....But never at a people level. The concept and yearning for a Tamil nation still exists....Tamil Nadu+North & East of Sri Lanka - the way it was before the British came to India. | ||
