It is learnt Dr Mitra, the so-called advisor to megastar Chiranjeevi on political affairs, will soon be out from the latter's camp. According to sources, though Dr Mitra has contributed a lot in building up the structure for the new party and preparing the party manifesto, certain forces in the Chiru camp are trying to influence the megastar stating that Dr Mitra's presence would do more harm than good to the new party. "Basically Dr Mitra is not a politician, but an idealist. He does not have practical understanding about field level politics. So taking his advice would only result in Chiranjeevi under-estimating the ground realities in politics," these forces told Chiranjeevi. Secondly, Dr Mitra has been trying to brainwash Chiranjeevi for a tie-up with the Left parties. The new group of leaders surrounding Chiru have advised him not to have any alliance with the Left parties, because the latter are known for their inconsistent stand. "Today, they might join you and in the process, get a few seats in Assembly and Parliament. But once you come to power, they will start attacking you and defame you by launching agitations. So, better avoid Communists," they told him. It is learnt Chiru is going to have a new set of political advisors and has decided to keep away Dr Mitra. Gradually, Dr Mitra would be confined to programme implementation committee of the party, sources said. |
