Nee bondaraa... Nee Bonda.. The Central Bureau of Investigation has resorted to contempt of court by filing the fifth charge sheet in connection with the alleged disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. The Supreme Court, while rejecting the bail petition of Jagan on October 5, 2012, told the CBI that it should not file multiple charge sheets in the case, but should club all the charges against him in one single charge sheet. That is precisely why the CBI has taken so much time between the fourth and the fifth charge sheet. Making a mention of it, Jagan and his associate Vijay Sai Reddy filed a petition in the CBI special court on Wednesday requesting that the fifth charge sheet filed by the CBI with regard to favours given to Dalmia Cements be treated as the last charge sheet and the CBI be directed not to file any more charge sheets, as was indicated in the Supreme Court direction. If fifth charge sheet is treated as the last one, Jagan would be entitled to apply for bail immediately. However, sources said the CBI has deliberately chosen to file the fifth charge sheet rather than the last one. "The CBI will not dare violate the Supreme Court order. But there is no mention in the Supreme Court order copy that only single charge sheet should be filed. It was an oral suggestion, but nothing of that sort was mentioned in the written order. So, it cannot be liable for contempt of court," sources said.
