Ali is super talented bhayya. Don't think he will fade out bcos of his versatility. Sunil/KB are satirical and accent based comedy alanti vallaki long innings for decades undadu like brahmi, ms narayana and ali.

I watched Adhurs movie for NTR Brahmi episodes around 20 times on DVD and 3 times in theatre. Vaitla ane oka king of entertainment daggara nundi I expected more through NTR's comedy performance. Adi raledu ani oka veliti. | ||

Watched Baadhshah yesterday in Herndon, VA. Theatre almost full except for the first row. Story already websites lo vachindi kabatti, I am sparing myself. Artist performances: NTR is a supremely talented actor. The sad part is when you leave the theatre u don't recall any of his "moments" in the film except his performance in the first half during his drinking episode with Vennela Kishore. Kajal acted well in the first half. Her episodes with NTR and Vennela Kishore are good. Brahmanandam's character is an extension of Ready/Dookudu. MS Narayana as "Revenge" Nageswara rao is super. Spoof episodes on RGV, Rajamouli and Boyapati are hilarious. Vennela Kishore is slowly carving a niche himself and as a replacement of Sunil. Music: Music and songs are a huge minus to this movie. Thaman ni amma akka bootulu tittukunnaru andaru. NTR baga dance chesedu but bcos of worst music, avvi register avvaledu. Baadshah character ki costumes/styling is bad. Production values: very high production values. Bandla to tukku tukku kinda spend cheyincharu. Direction: Pratee cinema ki life line is the story. The (un)fortunate thing about Baadhshah is the lack of a main story line. Whenever that thread comes up, it actually slows down the pace. But the rightly placed comedy and entertainment makes up for it in a big way - especially for the masses. The movie is made from a hangover of Dookudu. Overall gaa worth a watch strictly for comedy/entertainment episodes. Jeevi's 3.25 chaala apt anipinchindi. |
