He is working on the script. Harish Shanker directed Gabbar Singh. The latest news doing rounds is that Gabbar Singh 2 might be directed by powerstar himself or will it go to someone else. Various speculations are doing rounds. But the latest is that Harish Shanker might not be the director. Pawan Kalyan's experience in directing a film goes back to Jhonny, which released a decade ago. The film was a massive disaster. So he may not take up this project as director himself, although speculations are on. Then there is this talk that a new director who is close to Pawan Kalyan will take up the megaphone with this sequel.  Bandla Ganesh produced Gabbar Singh. Pawan is producing Gabbar Singh 2 under his own banner. Gabbar Singh went on to become a rage. The film catapulted Powerstar Pawan Kalyan from the lean phase of his career to the hit league. The question is can powerstar, or new director or any other director be able to match or rise above the awesome entertainment that was given by Gabbar Singh? Pawan Kalyan is confident that like the first part, Gabbar Singh 2 will also do well. The story might be on the lines of Dabbang 2 with modifications. Right now Pawan Kalyan is busy completing Trivikram Srinivas's film. |
