Kumon lo teaching gatra em vundadu.. they just give a bunch of exercises and let the kid practice.. practice.. practice. Aa maatram manam kuda print outs teesi cheyyochu.. The only difference is.. by getting the exercise books from kumon, you will have a target to finish every week; so kids and parents oka discipline ki alavatu avuthaaru.
Yes.. this is way too expensive for what they are giving. But, ippudu kotthagaa best brains ani vachchindi just like kumon. infact, a little better than kumon and the tuition fee is half of what you pay at kumon. | ||

I taught math to my son, since he was fourth grader. Result: He won MATHCOUNTS state competetion for two consecutive years ( as 7th and 8th grader ) and went onto compete National chamiponship Kumon ki ellinollu concepts theliyakundaa, repeating the same exerices again and again I didn't buy any books. Internet has infinite wealth of free information. Just make use of it. | ||

I don't know any good sites for reading /comprehension.. but for match you have lot of websites you get free worksheets to practice.. math-aids.com most of the public school have links on their websites .. they are all free... otherwise you have paid sites... about 100 per year or so ixl.com for maths. for all subjects you can use edhelper.com, I have used/using both these and they are good and help improve skills... i felt o use like creating reading books etc... | ||
