At a time when there is a large scale clamour from every Congress leader across the country for making âYuvarajâ Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister of the country, union minister of state for surface transport Sarvey Satyanarayana seems to be of the view that Rahul Gandhi does not deserve the coveted post. âIn my view, it will be better if Rahul Gandhi accepts the post of deputy prime minister of the country. That will give him a lot of experience and exposure,â Sarvey said on Saturday. It is rather surprising to listen to such words from a sycophant of Sonia family at this stage, when there has been a systematic attempt to declare Rahul as the future prime minister. Survey also expressed dissatisfaction over the inordinate delay in the formation of Telangana. âI sincerely feel , our party high command is strongly committed to granting Telangana statehood. But I cannot say when it will be happen. There is no end to the Telangana episode,â he said. He predicted that there would be no early elections to Lok Sabha. âThe UPA partners do not want advanced elections. Only the opposition parties want the early elections,â he said. |
