I agree with you...maree oka madhiri ga kuda kanapadatledhanukunta manam...my mom also studied in hyderabad which was most of 70s...ANR/NTR movies thega chuseyvallu mari...agree that hindi movies were more popular but telugu movies too had good viewership even in 70s.
