ninna oo post lo IT sector is backbone of indias economy annaru how??

63+% unde services lo 12-13% untundi IT sector ....

overall ga 2007-08 lo 7% of india gdp unde IT 2013 ki 4.8% of indian GDP ayindi....

Let me "try" to explain how.

Take some year as a benchmark year to start the comparison/analysis ..

Consider it 1995 .. (or 1990 - but IT was too nascent, but its ur choice)

then bring out the numbers of each sector's real contribution in numbers (not percentages) .. then see how IT contributed year on year .. u may understand why IT/ITeS is the backbone of Indian economy ..

Its simple - the money earned through IT actually enabled India with good foreign exchange through 1991 to 2013 .. certainly helps controlling the deficit other sectors bring to the table .. and the billions of $s in revenue is a big advantage since this rotates the money in a huge number of people's hands ..

ekkada daakano enduku .. without IT .. what is Madhapur/Kondapur .. raallu/rappalu .. money from IT contributed to everything from inflation to retailing (due to more cash in people's hands) .. and it trickles down to the farmers also (its still not upto the expectations - but thats another disco) ..

real estate boom, manufacturing boom, healthcare boom, construction boom .. everything happened only after IT/ITeS became what it is now .. ofcourse ee IT edo okadi meherbaani ante matram nenu oppukonu .. Indian family from long time invested in education and that helped us catch the IT market ..

nenu economics chadavaledu .. so cant explain it in better terms .. so adjust avvu .. dinner time .. later then ..
"India must conquer the World and nothing less than that is my ideal" || "...with patriotism must be associated a real feeling for others... We must not forget that we have to teach a great lesson to the world... religion and philosophy..." - Swami Vivekananda

Contribution of IT Services directly might not be much....But then the IT Workforce spends and contributes to other services right from entertainment to banking services....and hence acts as a major thrust....
And here too the spending might be restricted to only a few big cities in India - but it is sizeable
