i completely agree...and not only did they faced better bowling attacks...but the pitches that were played on then were really conducive to pace bowling than what we see now....
i still say the clive lloyd led teams were better than the steve waugh led teams...irrespective of the Australians winning streaks... |

You can pretty much look at these and figure out which team dominated during that period in a particular category(Test/ODI) of the game. |

akram cannot be compared to mcgrath..mcgrath gaadu esthadu sami slowerball aa fingers full spilt sesi aaha it is very difficult to pick it..
agree that akram has 6 varitions for 6 balls..i think slower bouncer is his invention

In the 1973 series Tony Greig challenged Vishwanath on his square cut and had 7 players defending the square region on the off side..but eventually Vishwanath succeded in scoring a boundary beating all 7 of them...
After the century Tony Greig (6 feet 7 inches tall) literally carried Vishy back into the pavilion...hats off to that sportsman spirit |
