agriculture is risky job and and they do not enjoy the kind of facilities, the people of city enjoy like good schools for their kids, colleges, medical facilities, entertainment etc.... It is because of this free electricity that the agricultural sector grew phenomenally helping us to beat the global economic slowdown. This is with reference to India. They are not enjoying. They are so poor that they cannot afford. Without free electricity = No farming No farming = No food No food = You die by hungry.
