not much. initially deposited only 40K-Rs (there was less than 10K-Rs min balance requirement for my account). after that account was not usable. few times i called customer service, emails...like that 2yrs passed. I have another NRI account so not bothered about this account much. | ||

Axis Bank NRI account holders unnara? how is ur experience. I opened it two years back. After opening my account I received atm cards, pin and I was able to access my account online. After few months my account password changed and PIN was not working to reset the password. The website was not allowing me to reset the password, no matter what I did. I wrote numerous emails to various contacts mentioned on the axis bank website and faxed request forms. After so much of pain, some lady from hyd branch contacted me and said they another form to be signed and faxed. I did. After three months of that, silence again. Finally one good day she replied she can give the PIN over the phone or mail to US address. I asked her to mail (as I already paid for US shipping). She mailed it, but the PIN was useless. It was not working at all. So gave up. And last week, I received email from her saying that I have "0" balance and there will be penalty if it is "0" for x more days. Now what should I do? If I deposit, I am sure the bastards at Axis Bank will use it. I am surprised that I found similar things when I did online search. Is there any way of reporting this incidence to indian govt? |
