when you zoom in and zoom out, lens will NOT extend...means,, it will extend "internally"...so dust will not enter into lens..obviously expensive... normal lens which extends outside will catch dust and chances to get damage are more... | ||

why can't be there just one car model for toyota? there are carollas, camrys, and within LE, CE< S models etc.. ante emi cheptham.. ?? L = luxury series (they are dust proof, water proof etc = expensive) IS = for few IS doesn't matter, they mostly use tripod or they can manage with handheld. to cater different budgets and different needs...simple... | ||

also not a very good deal...it was around $1200 last year... and you can get REFURB 70-200 IS version for $1700 from canon site..(just for $300 more, of course canon refurb = as good as new) | ||
