Posted January 31st, 2010 by analyst in Event News Politics Delhi analyst's picture Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF versionPDF version Dr Salman Khurshid has written the book named "At Home In India: A restatement of Indian Muslims" in which he blatantly quoted that what Sikhs suffered during 1984 riots was only due to their SINS committed against during 1947 partition We are hereby demanding immediate and unconditional apology from Union Minority affairs minister Mr Salaman Khurshid for his uncivilized remarks against SIKH community regarding 1984 Anti-Sikh riots.We have strong objection for his remarks and we feel that such a person is totally unfit for holding portfolio like minority affairs and also he is not fit to adorn any sort of Ministerial berth in Union Cabinet. So we demands that he should be immediately ousted from Union Cabinet as early as possible or we have to approach Hon.President of India to urge her to compell Hon.Prime Minister to do so. We also urge Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee to create pressure on Prime Minister Manmohan Sing to drop him out Union Cabinet. We also demand that Mr Khurshid must tender apology as early as possible or we will have to create public pressure to compel him to do so.I tis highly insulting to the whole Sikh society that a Sikh person is heading the government and he is tolerating such person who has such a derogatory and insulting quotes in his book regarding Sikh faith.
