Abdus salam is the only pakistani who belongs to Ahmadi community. Ahmadis are a religious minority in pakistan and are persecuted because muslims dont consider them real muslims, as the Ahmadi's have another Prophet after Mohammad. Wanted to share this extra info I got from a Paki progressive guy I know. | ||

Ok BTW- saw an interesting phenomenon yesterday - we had teams from a specialised math and science academy compete in a science competition in our region While most teams from the regular schools in our region had a mix of races - this particular school's teams (the two I saw) were predominantly asian - they had a team that was almost all indian and a team that was almost all oriental Talk about asians taking over the sciences The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet : James Oppenheim | ||
