Devineni Ramana was the leader in real life. He got into elections in 1994, and he fought it against CPI and good INC candidate Gopala Krishna sai. Campaigning appudu INC candidate tana sonta village loki Ramana ni ranivvaledu. On top of it, he was a strong candidate. Guess what happened. Sai became a big fan of Ramana post elections seeing his work ethic. Ramana involved all the farmers and made sure the required works are done. This is one of the reasons for Janma bhoomi scheme.
