Exactly good BMI means really nothing ...but at least you are not in the obvious danger zone.. Cholestrol is an important measure as you age.. As long as your Cholestrol levels and Net worth (in Bank/Real Estate etc) are inversely proportional you are in good shape..the day they become directly proportional you need to start worrying. BMI index is only a rough figure to check if you are normal weight,over weight or Obese....it has nothing to do with muscle and shape or fitness. There are other ways of calculating....i donot know the formula..but it takes into consideration....your built,age and other factors.... |

macho: u should be using a KNEE-CAP while jogging if ur feeling pains. one more siggestion is "if ur weight (more)" then stress will be there on Knees.. so bakkaga unte parvaledu, baaga heavy weight unte, do other types of exercises |

Rajusk:Are you working out for a specific purpose...like keeping fit..improving strength etc? If you look at the BMI index..you fall within normal range.. If you have other issues like Cholestrol etc..then it is a different story

Machomegastar:any warm up exercises you do before running if you do how long and waht kind of warm ups you do
antha emi ledhu .... strech my legs...and bend your back...and brisk walk for 3-4 minutes....then start running at 5.5 mph...and then go to 6 mph..6.5 mph...and then to 7.5 mph .....I would be at 6.5 mph most of the time..7.5 meedha last few minutes....before cooling down... naadhi emi correct ani naaaku telvadh...but this is how i like doing and feel good. Naaku body motham kadhalaali...and full sweat raavali.... |

Hello RA mama nenu ee madya 4 weeks nundi( 4 to 5 days a week) at a speed of 4.5 miles /hour until 3 miles jog chestunnanu. kani just last week nundi knee pains vastunnayi. emi precaution teesukovali. may be trhead mill is good you think becuase out side is not flat surface. specail sport shoe emain teesukovala?? |
