Madrascalcutta:Buy and eat what you would normally eat. In Asia, Rosematta rice is just as good as brown rice. Also, depriving yourself of rice doesn't make sense. Asians eat rice and are in good health. It's the quantity that matters. We should eat our traditional every day food and not go for fads. There are a lot of healthy Telugu dishes out there.
why r u mixing physical stuff with traditional/emotional stuff? I do not agree to your post..I always want to put something in my mouth that is nutritious than delicious. again I am not saying rice is bad..but when I weigh rice vs quinoa I opt for quinoa because I get more good fats, more protein, more fiber in 100 gm of quinoa than in 100 gm of rice.. so why would I opt for a less nutrition dense food |

Quinoa is a great food. I would eat it only on a weight loss regime, otherwise I would like to enjoy the most sinful of foods |

Here's the thing, most of these products, good benefit or not, are largely promoted by companies through 3rd party marketers. Basic food that does not go through intense chemical production should not cost so much. But nowadays, these healthy options that were once poor man's food are costly. Buy and eat what you would normally eat. In Asia, Rosematta rice is just as good as brown rice. Also, depriving yourself of rice doesn't make sense. Asians eat rice and are in good health.
