Twitter:For people who are not familiar with Laxman's sad story, on December 9th 2010, 33 years old Laxman Dusa suffered a major stroke in his brain stem due to a blood clot in the pons area. The stroke has left him badly paralyzed. He is suffering from an extremely rare and debilitating condition known as '"locked-in syndrome". Laxman cannot move, cannot speak, cannot swallow food and is fighting to keep his dignity. Otherwise, the stroke has cruelly spared virtually all of Laxman's conscious and unconscious processing systems. His memory, his reason, and his emotions are all intact. He can see, hear and feel emotions - and feel pain - but he has no way of communicating except by moving his eyelids up-and-down. He is an active mind trapped inside an unresponsive body.
