he is the heart and soul of his movies. story, screenplay, technology, direction, pre and post-production .. everything. he is the beginning and the end. like zemeckis and george lucas to some extent. Nolan and peter jackson also belong to this batch. a regular director is someone who takes a prepared story or script but presents it using his vision. such a director rarely has a say on even editing, forget about anything else. (many hollywood studios dont even let the director sit through editing). cameron, lucas -- are film makers. they have the idea and they are the kartha, karma, kriya of the idea. you need to read more about cameron to understand him. the emotional content in his movies may not have appealed to you, which is fine. but he has no parallel in world cinema right now. peter jackson competes but he is a distant second to me. balupu s/o gelupu | ||

His movies hardly carries any soul with them. He is passionate about technology and its presentation.. not at direction. I did not see any directorial improvement from his titanic to avatar. but only CG improvements. | ||

Cameroon did not impress me in portraying human emotions.. ekkuvaga grand canvassing ni nammukuntadu. good in that aspect. but avi entha bagunna background story/drama lekapote I cannot enjoy the movie. Avataar is one sh*t of the movie I ever watched. for me Peter Jackson is miles ahead than Cameron. | ||
