1.It is heard that the origin of the problem seems to have come out on the audio release of the movie in Jaya TV and the satellite rights were asked at a lesser price tag which Kamal has not obliged. Eventually Sun TV has bagged the rights of the movie 2. Sun TV was behind the DTH concept of Vishwaroopam which did not go well with Tamil Theatre associations 3. Kamal Hasan reportedly quoted “Chidambaram” as someone capable enough to be the next Prime Minister in a felicitation function which did not go well with the state government 4. The movie when Censored and was given U/A – in the censor report and the first one who has signed on it is Jinnah – a muslim 5. Once Kamal has been put as the target of the Govt , not even single producer came in support of Kamal Hassan. Few actors like Ajith, Rajni Kanth , Arya came in support which is big question mark in tamil film integrity 6. There was some fabricated news items that petrol bombs were thrown in some theatres – but not even a single FIR is registered 7. The muslim groups have seen the movie and attended a press conference along with Kamal saying that the movie is clean , but still the attack is ON 8. There was 144 section in key areas of TN to avoid people gathering at the theatre 9. At night 10 PM court cleared the movie and there are reports that certain theatre sections received threatening calls that theatres will be destroyed if the movie is screened 10. Kamal has even agreed to cut some portions of the movie and mute many dialogues – still the release is stopped and now Kamal is approaching Supreme Court. They may be facts or they may allegations , but this is update from Kodambakam correspondent on the present status of Vishwaroopam  | ||
